Refund of customs duties and VAT

Why do you want a refund?

Returned item for refund I have returned the product and received a refund from the seller.

Replaced against replacement product I have sent a product back to the seller and received a replacement delivery free of charge, but I have paid taxes for the replacement product.

Repaired goods I have sent an item for repair and paid custums duty and taxes twice on the same item.

The calculation is incorrect For example: wrong weight, typographical errors in the invoice or the value of the item is less than 350 Norwegian kroner.

The currency is incorrect For example: the customs clearance is in Euros and the invoice is in dollars.

Item should be duty or tax free I have paid taxes on a product I think should have been free of taxes.

Both foreign and Norwegian VAT I have paid Norwegian VAT in addition to foreign VAT.

Duties and taxes have been assessed twice I have declared the goods, and so has the freight forwarder.

Other reason None of the other reasons describe the issue.

Norwegian Customs does not refund this fee. This is a fee you pay to the shipping agent (Posten, Bring, DHL, UPS, etc.) for customs clearance. If you have questions about this fee, please contact the shipping agent.

Because the customs duties ({toll} Norwegian kroner) are 100 kroner or more, you may apply for a refund.

Note: You must apply for a refund from two authorities:

Norwegian Customs to refund the customs duties
The Norwegian Tax Administration to refund the VAT. You will find a link after you have completed this application.
Norwegian Customs does not refund the customs clearance fee paid to shipping agents (Posten, Bring, DHL, UPS, etc.)

Because customs duties ({toll} Norwegian kroner) are less than 100 kroner, it does not look like you are eligible for a refund of the customs duties.

Norwegian Customs does not refund:

Amounts under 100 kroner (See Tax Payment Regulations § 10-4-1)
Customs clearance fee to shipping agents (Postal, Bring, DHL, UPS, etc.)

Because customs ({toll} kroner) and value added tax ({vat} kroner) total 100 kroner or more, you may apply for a refund.

Because customs duties ({toll} Norwegian kroner) and VAT ({vat} Norwegian kroner) together are below 100 kroner, it does not look like you will get a refund.
