TVINN

Declaration using TVINN TVINN is Norwegian Customs electronic system for exchanging customs declarations. The system ensures that businesses’ goods are efficiently released (cleared).

Support for the reading of the TVINN declaration barcode The Norwegian Customs has updated the TVINN (customs clearance system) to accept the reading of barcodes, that comply with the ISO-128 standard, on declarations. This is for streamlining the process "Immediate release by import declaration" which aims to simplify all customs clearances made at the border.

Use of codes for import of living animals, foodstuffs, etc. There is an obligation to notify the Norwegian Food Safety Authority before these goods can be declared. The declarant must specify the applicable codes on the declaration to specify what types of notifications that have been given to the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.

Procedure for the declaration of split shipments/partial consignments This procedure applies to the declaration of split shipments/ partial consignments for importation and exportation. The value of the split shipments must be determined.You must determine the correct commodity code in the Norwegian Customs Tariff as the goods appearat the time of importation/exportation. The final product of the split shipment shall appear in box No. 44.
