Before importing any goods, you must check whether they are subject to restrictions or prohibitions.
If the goods are subject to restrictions you might have to apply for a permit before importation, or special conditions may apply to the import of the goods.
There may also be restrictions in the exporting country, such as the requirement to have an export permit. If you are unsure whether restrictions apply to the goods in the country of export, contact the seller or the authorities in the country of exportation.
Goods that do not have the necessary permits, approvals, or labels may be withheld by Norwegian Customs and, ultimately, be seized and destroyed.
If you cannot find the goods you wish to import in the list below and are unsure if restrictions apply, contact Norwegian Customs by calling +47 22 86 03 12.
