Dietary supplements
Dietary supplements are considered to be either foodstuffs or medicines.
If the dietary supplement you have purchased is classified as a medicine, the rules for importation of medicines apply. There are many goods that are sold as dietary supplements abroad, which are considered medicines in Norway.
If dietary supplements are regarded as foodstuffs, you must contact the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.
